There is no information that I can find about the voltage/amp support of the Intel B75 series or any of that chipset whatsoever. PC Part Picker also has a compatibility program that won't let you select items that cannot function with each other, which could be helpful for you. http://pcpartpicker.com/

Here is the info of the ASUS GT 240 vs the GTX 750 TI: http://www.hwcompare.com/17395/geforce-gts-250-1gb-vs-g...

By the looks of the wattage difference, and the Gateway computer you purchased I am 99% sure your motherboard cannot handle it.

Lastly, your computer has a 300w PSU, which is probably a very generic brand name since you are buying it from Newegg, they tend to throw whatever they have around in there for PSUs. The minimun PSU for the 750ti is 300w: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt...

I would upgrade your PSU and you Motherboard if you are buying a gtx 750 ti.
