Motherboard with bent pins and no signal

I recently bought all the parts I needed to build my gaming desktop. Basically, everything turned on when power with the power supply. All the fans worked fine and the motherboard turned on. While on the GPU while connected to a monitor read no signal. I've tested this monitor on another computer and found that the monitor works completely fine as well. After unplugging the GPU and using the onboard graphics, the monitor still read no signal. We concluded the the motherboard was simply not giving enough power to produce a signal so I sent it back to New egg for a replacement. After receiving an e-mail saying the pins were damaged I cannot get a replacement and will either have to sent it to the manufacturer to fix or get a whole new motherboard. I question if the pins were actually bent in the first place because the CPU fit in fine but that's besides the point. I was wondering if there could possibly be another reason as to why there was no signal onto the monitor while plugged into the motherboard besides the pins being bent, unless that is the exact reason. Thank you!

Solution
The only other reason I can think of is that it was disabled in the BIOS but I assume you handled that when you switched over to the onboard video.

I would take their word for it. We don't have the mobo or a picture so there's no way to tell about the bent pins. From the following thread it's doubtful you could fix the bent pins yourself.
