This external hd was working 2 days ago. The computer recognizes it, but it doesn't show up under "My Computers". I opened up Disk Management and tried to reinitialize but it's telling me, "Incorrect function"and I do not see RAW or NTSF on that disk. It is just, Unknown and Not Initialized. I've also noticed 0 byte capacity on this 500gb hd with only about 200gb used. I'm prepared to be told that my external drive is corrupted or dead, but it still seems to be working.. or at least LED light still works. Fortunately, I don't have any real important files on the drive, but is there some way to repair the disk?
WD 500gb External, not initialized and showing 0 capacity. Need some help.
