I'm pretty sure you can, but I want to make sure so I can get the right size drive. I want to keep windows on my 1tb with all of my programs and then just move my games to the ssd for quicker load times. Steam allows me to move my storage folder for where the games get installed too and when I install non steam games I can select the install destination. Will this run just as fast as if everything were on the same drive? Windows already boots in like 4 seconds with the 1tb I have so I just need the games there for now and maybe some music production software later on.

Also if anyone reading this has used a samsung ssd with 3d nand is that worth spending the extra $ on?
