DualAgreed. Im running the same system with a different CPU (4770k). Can easily play everything on ultra way over 60FPS, the 290 Tri-x is a beast!

All current games are likely to run at maximum settings, 60+ fps.
In terms of future games, unless they're bleeding edge in terms of technology, you should have no issue running these on ultra/high for a good few years.
