So i have a pc with a old Athlon 64 x2 5200+ (2.7 Ghz stock) In it and it's really old and runs hot. (35-50 idle) (ambient temp about 27.5 c°)

The pc overheated all the time with the stock cooler even after changing thermal paste.

( I even hooked the cpu fan to a molex so it runs @ full speed and its a 12v fan so it was super fast and loud but still i was getting terrible temps.)

So i bought a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo. It's a well know cooler with great reviews and is affordable. But the problem is that this is a old pc with a old motherboard and it has no 4-pin connectors. Is there any way to connect the Hyper 212 to the 3-pin connector?

I can probably do something like this except the 3pin would be 4 pin

i think this is the thing im looking for (cant really tell if there's 4 pins in the casing)

All help would be appreciated :)

I would really appreciate if someone show's how to make a adapter because I'm 16 and broke and don't want to ask parents for money.

I've bought a Zalman z3 plus, WD 1tb blue , Asus M5a99 Pro r2.0 and now the hyper 212+ all myself and dont want to take a single cent from my parent's (because of the feeling you get when you've done all by yourself ;D ) and I'm going to keep building up this system. I know all of you are going to say to buy the adapter. But i live in Latvia and we have very limited pc shop's and i have no local pc shops where i live so i'd have to order online and pay more for the shipping than the adapter cost's (so I'm okay if you show me a ''ghetto way'' to do this :)
