Hey guys thanks fir reading my thread. I wanted to know if my gaming rig is strong enough to play all the games in the highest settings.

My specs:
Asus r9 280x direct cu ll top gd5
Msi z87-g45
8gb Cosair vengeance pro 1600mhz
I5 4690 3.5 ghz
Thermaltake 750 watts
3 27inch eyefinity monitors
Antec 1200 case

Will this last me long enough for a few years?? I dont plan on overclocking.

More about : strong play

On one of the monitors, probably
But a 280x will not be enough to play on high with all 3 monitors

But I thougt the 280x can handle 6 monitors.

Depends on resolution and the frame rate you want. If you're just wondering if you're able to play highest settings in all games, most likely you will be able to.

Frame rate wise, you'd probably want to sacrifice in some areas to get better frames if you need it.

It can handle 6 monitors, but gaming on all 6 is a different story. It'll be able to do it, but on highest settings the frames will be butchered quite hard I'd imagine.

I have 3 monitors with each on 1920x1086. That should be fine right? For a 280x?

If you're playing on 1 monitor, it'll do fine. If you're planning on playing across more monitors, it's better to go with a r9 290 or something better.

Should I maybe overclock my r9 280x since its a direct ii cu top. Which is made for overcloxking. Would that increase my play?

AND CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT FPS IS? Is higher fps better or lower better? Please examples

FPS = frames per second. More frames per second theoretically will give you more fluid or smoother gameplay.

The r9 280x is better suited for 1 monitor gaming. The r9 290/gtx 780 is better for multi monitor gaming or bigger screens.
