Hi guys I recently inquired on the forums for advice on what parts would best suit my new PC I'm building and so far thanks to the helpful community I've been able to select nearly all my parts except for the power supply.

Before going any further I would like to point out that I intend to use this PC for predominantly gaming and occasionally 3D programs and rendering therefore I don't want an under powered PSU but on the other-hand I do not want an overkill one that will be put to waste on this system.

The parts I've settled on are below:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K

CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97-HD3 ATX LGA1150

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 (Subject to change)

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DirectCU II

Case: NZXT Phantom 410

Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/RSBS DVD/CD Writer

I'm still unsure about what to get for the PSU however after doing some research it seems somewhere from 650-700W would be optimal.

Some Options I am looking into are:

1. SeaSonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX PSU
2. Thermaltake Litepower 700W Non-Modular (Unsure of compatibility with chosen parts)
3.CoolerMaster Thunder Series 700W

Feel free to suggest a PSU you think would work better and also feel free to tell me what you think of this PC build and any parts you would have used.

Thanks EpicGamer :)

Oh get the Seasonic for sure - the other two PSUs on your list are crap for the most part. I'd also recommend the EVGA Supernova G2s ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438017 ) - one of the highest rated power supplies on Jonnyguru.com (if they say a PSU is great, it's great, if they say it isn't, don't touch it with a 10 foot pole).

You could probably also cut down on the CPU and RAM and then upgrade your GPU to a GTX 780TI. What's your budget?
