It actually can be done and as much as I don't want to admit, Its actually competing very well with my 920 haha. I want to go further but I'm afraid haha, can't believe its even handling this haha,

about the same fps 70-100 r9 270... I'm getting when the 920 is 3.6-3.8ghz.....

Can you check VRM temps at all?
They should be smoking any second now.

So I will take that as a no, you can't check VRM temps.

What cooling are you using? ALL of it?

I'm assuming they are in the 70-80c range....I think HWmonitor tmpin1 is vrm temp on this board and it is showing temps in that range don't hold me to that though, unless its NB/SB....Haven't seen any throttling.... CPU temps Highest I seen after playing awhile right at 61/62c....

I seriously doubt its that low, that board is horrible.

And most boards can't measure VRMs, you need IR thermo for it.

You SURE there is no throttling?

Who knows VRMS might be blistering hot after awhile....but if that CPU temp/or any of these temps is accurate at all... highest I seen was 61/62c
more like 58-60c on average....It sure is performing/playing like there is no throttling...seems pretty smooth.

Well even if it does smoke the board/smoke CPU...give me an excuse to get a nicer board and like fx 6300/6350/8xxx haha

Previously...been awhile back I have ran it from 4.2-4.5ghz same results seem to run okay....so just now basically wen't up to 4.7ghz haha

And yes ran stress tests same temps pretty much

Nevermind it just took awhile, I finally did start throttling haha, went back down to 4.5ghz....

Thought so, but even 4.5Ghz is insane for that motherboard. It should be boiling the VRMs.

Yeah went back down to 4.5ghz it was still throttling....so now went back to 4.3ghz seems okay now....

its like dammit I have a brief glimpse of what it can do oced way up but its just too much haha.

I really need to get a better PSU though soon thinking that EVGA 600B pretty good deal for Decent PSU.....This Delta is getting old and is suspect to begin with....

I have also experimented with my 760gma and an fx-6300

Managed to get a VERY NEAR stable overclock of 233mhz base block, pushing the cpu to 4077 at the base multiplier and setting my ram to 1864 on a 1:4 multiplier.

NB and HT both at auto with NB running around 2400 and HT at around 2600 as shown in CPU-Z

with mos-c1 on mosfets, the vrm are reaching about 61C

stable in AIDA64 but crashing after about 8 hours of working from my PC
