Hi everyone,

So I want to buy a new graphics card, but i'm not sure if it will work with my current CPU.
We're talking about the MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC and the Intel I5 750 here.

I hope you could give me some insight on this.
Thanks in advance

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-750-vs-Intel-Core... - it's a pretty weak cpu, but should still run your gtx 760.

Yeah i know it's a bit out dated, but i can't afford a new one at the moment.

Also, is a gtx 760 the same thing as a MSI N760 TF 2GD5/OC?

You haven't said what you're using at the moment and your build isn't in your profile.

It'll kick the HD5700 butt. Make sure it'll fit in your case and that you've got a good 500+W power supply.

Next - get 2 x 4gb ram - I'd get 2 x 4gb 1600 per http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55D/specifications/

Thanks!

I have a 620 power supply so thats no problem.

Also, is it could my current motherboard run with my processor or do i need a new one? (possibly the p7p55d)

No. it uses just one, but takes up two expansion slots - the cover plates at the back of the PC.

Ahh okay good.

So in theory I could just stick it in without having to upgrade other parts of my pc, and it will work fine?
