No signal from graphic card!

Hi,i just installed my ATI Radeon hd 5450 but it doesnt gives me any signal!
I dont know that its seated properly or not!
And i am in a doubt that its not seated properly!
Please give me a solution and tips to check that it seated properly or i have to install the driver first and then install the graphic card!

When inserted properly, the card will feel solid in the pci-e slot. The external dvi-d, hdmi etc will line up properly on the outside of the case. If you have a flashlight, you will see that all of the copper on the bottom of the card are not exposed as they are sitting properly in the pci-e slot.
 


When properly installed, the card's PCI-E connector will be fully inserted in the slot, as drkatz42 mentioned. Also, there is usually a locking mechanism that will lock when the card goes all the way in. You can see it in this picture:

See the white thingey on the right? It is in the locked position.

Hi,on the same day i firsty added my graphic card to pci-e slot.
Then inserted the vga in motherboard vga slot.
Then i just simply installed the drivers and shtdown my computer.
Then insterted my vga into graphic card!
Drivers problem ;)
