No bootable device and can't access BIOS

Hey guys, I have just NEARLY finished my first gaming build but I am have two issues.

The first being "No bootable device, please restart system" despite there being an OS installed onto the HDD (I used my old computers HDD) and the second is not being able to access the BIOS, everytime I try and get into the BIOS, the computer just restarts itself.. Any ideas?

Please post the model numbers and brand of all your hardware components. Also, what are you pushing in order to access the BIOS? Many motherboards require different keys or key combinations for BIOS access, restart functions, etc.

are you hitting the right key??different computer have diferent keys associated to bios.

That's exactly what I said, almost word for word. Yeah, you're helpful. And in case you didn't notice, the OP never bothered to respond anyway. I like to give you a few select pointers on forum etiquette accentuated by some choice words, but it's probably not worth it and the moderators wouldn't appreciate it anyway, so I won't. Besides, it would show a lack of class, kind of like your post.
