there's also some stuff about how I should disable or remove any newly installed software, but I built this machine a few months ago, and it's done this ever since. I've tried re-slotting the memory into the 1st and 3rd, and now the 2nd and 4th memory slots, and I've also updated all drivers.

Here are a few specs for you all.

Mobo: Asrock z87 pro4
Cpu: Intel Core i5 4670K Haswell generation
Ram: 2X Crucial Ballistix Sprot 4GB ddr3
Video Card: MSI R5770 Hawk 1GB GDDR5 memory

This tends to happen mostly when I'm playing a game and I alt-tab out, or honestly whenever the computer feels like it. I was playing an emulated version of Zelda and about 45 minutes in, it just bailed out and gave me the blue screen.

I'm posting this in the memory area mostly because I have a feeling it is actually RAM related, but of course I'm open to any recommendations and ideas about how to fix this. Do I need to go into bios and change some settings about my memory?

So does anyone have any advice or recommendations? Please advise.
