Hi guys, I've got an Asus R9 280X DCUII Top. I've overclocked mine using these settings from MSI Afterburner.

Core Voltage 1200
Core Clock 1170
Mem Clock 1800

Are these good clocks? What are the maximum clocks you guys have achieved using this card?

Yup, they are pretty close to the best you can do on air cooling. The memory seems a little higher than it should be though. You may end up having to drop that down a bit later on to stay stable in all the games you play.

Hmm. I was planning to watercool my whole system next month. But are there any waterblocks specifically for the R9 280x with DirectCU cooler?

You really should ask yourself if it's worth the money to spend on water cooling to only go a little bit higher than where you allready are. Most r9 280x top out around 1250/1300 on water anyway, and you are not far away from that at all. You would only see a couple extra frames per second improvement, and you may burn out your card faster if you have it at max that it can do all the time.

the clocks are nice enough , but yea,,, water cooling cost! and the jump you will make in the core clock I think its not that much, still you may end up having issues or damage the card, leave the card as it is with good cooling, if you like something more, get a better card , that is :)  but r9 280x OC is still very powerfull card, you can play every game at ultra on a single screen
