Hi there,
I have recently bought 2x4 gig of ram to add to the 2x1 that I had, for gaming purposes, however nor the bios, nor windows don't see it, but when I open CPUz (system information program) it does see all of my 10 gig ram and detailed information about it.
This leaves me with the thought that the motherboard sees the ram but the bios and the OS (windows 7 64-bit) don't see it, or don't want to use due to limits.
I have tried switching channels and ports but t didn't help.
Anyone any idea what the problem could be?
Here are some specifics that I know:
Dual channel
The 2x1 ram is Kingston, 333 megahertz.
The new 2x4 ram is Samsung 333 megahertz.
I can't think of anything else now but I'm glad to answer questions if needed.
