I do face the same problem as Nickeakhurst.I get the message in monitor No VGA cable connected when operated with ATI graphic

Are you actually using a VGA cable? i find that hard to believe actually. Try manually setting the monitor to DVI or HDMI should be a button or a settings page somewhere on the physically monitor.
Also please provide more info. is this a laptop and you are connecting to an external monitor? does this have onboard video and you installed a video card? is this a dekstop?
