Improve airflow in HAF 912

I'm trying to increase my airflow. I notice that the HAF 912 has a lot of unused vent space. There area lot of holes in the drive space below the optical driver, and some open space around the fans themselves. If I block all the vent space, that is not used by fans (with vinyl sticker sheets), in order to increase air pressure in the case, will that improve the airflow fans cooling?
Currently have:
Front - 200mm
Top - 200mm
Side - 120mm
Back - 120mm

Leave the holes alone honestly. If they didn't serve a purpose the engineers would of left them out I assume, lol. Just make sure your cables are neat and tidy inside the case and have your fans mounted properly. Front, bottom, and side fans should be intakes. The top, and rear fans...

Just being pedantic. My GPU idles around 50c, so if I can get down even 1-2C, I will be happy. I know it's not a big deal for an r9 290, but I'm a weirdo :p.

You could also buy higher RPM fans but you may as well water cool if your going to put that much money into it. Hope this helps.
