hey guys i got a custom pc
sabertooth z87 mother board, nvidia 780 ti, dominator platinum 16 gigs 2400 mhz ram. i7 4770k
2 samsung 128 840 pros in raid 0
i had this custom pc now for 7 months?
and for some strange reason all of a sudden computer has problems shutting down and sleeping
if i shut down the computer all the components of the computer stay on, ram, gpu, cpu, etc
but the monitor shuts off that was before i found out about disabling turn on fast start up
sense i disabled turn on fast start up now when i shut down the computer it restarts and if i don't run any applications and go back to shut down it will shut down the computer
now for sleep
the computer goes to sleep some times its a 50/50 chance
if the computer actually does sleep everything is fine
but some times my monitor will shut off and the computer will not go to sleep
then i cant wake up the monitor and everything stays on HDD, SSD, ram, CPU, GPU, Etc
so then i have to press reset on the front of computer to actually get back into windows again
i also updated my bios hoping that would be a quick fix
it did work but only for so long
should i just do a clean install of windows 8.1? i really don't feel like doing that because i am too lazy lol and i hate installing drivers
or does anyone know a fix ??
