no sound from motherboard or front ports

i have no sound for the back panel headphone jacks or the front panel. i can use my turlebeaches with the usb but it doesnt let my use my speaker or antyhing like that, any suggestions

Have these ports stopped working recently, or have they not worked at all?

Are drivers installed for the sound chip on the motherboard? Your Turtle Beach set works because USB-based speakers or headsets have their own sound chip on them with their own drivers installed.

they use to work then all of a sudden stop, i recently updated everything
