Hi guys. I was playing games with no issues like 6 months ago on my Acer V3-771g laptop. It has i7 2.4 ghz with turbo boost to 3.4ghz, geforce gt 650m 2gb, 8gb ram. Yes, I know it is not a gaming laptop or something but there were no issues on games like Mass Effect 1, 2, 3 or Far Cry 3. Now I can't even play Mass Effect 1 normally. I mean there are moments when it starts lagging for a while. Then it ends for a few minutes and repeats. Well also the laptop is very hot but I guess that's because it is Acer. They are known for that. So today when playing Mass Effect I looked at temperatures and got this. What do you think? Oh and I just newly installed Windows 8,1 after using Win7. Though it might help lagging issues. It didn't...

Your laptop likely needs a clean. Dust and whatnot accumulate in a laptop too.

thanks i thought it is possible. a lil bit afraid of losing warranty due to cleaning it. for example you lose warraty for opening desktop PC because a warranty sticker breaks. don't know situation with laptops. will contact the shop.

If it's within warranty, let professionals clean it. Send it back.
