This would probably help. Windows 8.1 and Word 2010 Home and Student. I think everything's fully up to date, there hasn't been an update and restart option in the power menu for a long time

Edit: Hang on, there are a few updates for 8.1 and my CPU, they were optional so my rig never prompted me
