I have been looking at the very cheep Crucial mx100 128gb SSD for use just for my OS in my PC build. The write speed for this drive is 150 MB/s (Sequential Write), which I am wondering if that is a little slow? Is this drive still good enough for my OS despite the slow write speed? Any advice?
Thanks!

The ssd is fine, it uses 6gb/s so it's quite fast, and that model is quite good also

Samsung MZ-7TE120BW 840 EVO or Sandisk SD6SB1M-128G-1022i X110
wold also be a good choice. I can tell you from experience - I would not get a boot drive smaller than 180Gb - even for a boot SSD.

This one looks tempting - Intel SSDSC2CT240A4K5 335 Series
