antec h2o kuhler 950 Temps?

Solution
What chip? What measurement are you reading, Core, Pump, TCase, TJunction, Radiator? Overclocking? Fan/Pump Speed?

Presumably from the OP this is a new installation. As long as the heatsink compound was properly applied and the cooler properly seated on the CPU, 40-45 is about right.

Keep in mind that with liquid coolers you are measuring the temperature of the CPU cores or the sensor at the pump near the heatsource. The water is cooled at the radiator so the highest temperature in the loop will be at the CPU cooler itself. They should have a higher idle then an air cooler.

It may seem like it is performing poorly at low temperatures, but see if you can get it to overheat.

I have an H80i which is a very similar product. Idles around...

Did you overclock? If not, then you might have put too much or too little thermal paste.

Is the idle temp after being used or after it cools down? Also, Arctic Silver is supposed to last very long but just in case, you might want to re-apply it.

I have an H80i which is a very similar product. Idles around 45 and peaks at 85C on my CPU cores. i7-4770k @ 1.3 volts @ 4.3Ghz

Reviews:

i7-950 The cpu case temperature is 40 degrees C under no load and 59 degrees C at full load with Prime 95 running for 12 hours with the Vcore at 1.31v in the BIOS. Individual core temperatures max out at 74 degrees C and the the Antec Chill Control software reports a fluid temperature of 44.8

I have an AMD FX-8350 clocked at 4.7GHz and 1.38V with PK-3; I use it for running codes mostly, and it never gets above 60*C, but I have to set the cooling thresholds on the software at their minimums. I want to really crank up my CPU though so I'll have to get something bigger.

Keeps my liquid temps under 29°C under the default profile and they never get higher than 40°C when maxing out.

This thing is sick, just paired it with my i7 3770k@3.9GHz, now i am running max load 84 degrees celcius @4.5Ghz.

Thanks for the info I'm running prime95 now and it seems to be around 75c under full load
