I've got so much to explain but I must explain all this mess. My problems started 2 months ago, when I was using windows 8.1. I've started to experience some errors. The error was ''graphic card has stopped responding and has recovered''. Well, at the beginning it was ok, nothing more than errors. Then the BSOD came. After one week of holding it with those errors i installed Windows 7. Well, all started to work great, my laptop was errors free, until today, when all get worst. And then, finally, i got the last BSOD. Until that BSOD my laptop stopped working, well, just my display. The laptop turns on and it works great with another display, it's connected with a VGA cable, you all know that stuff. Well. I re-installed the windows, and I tried to install the graphic card driver. All worked fine till i restarted my laptop. After ''Starting Windows" screen i get BSOD with some kind of red stripes, In order to use the laptop, i must choose VGA Standard graphic card. If i choose my graphic Ati Radeon HD 5400 series I get bsod and all that things. Well, I wonder if you can help me guys. Let me know what you think i got to do.

Think your card is bad, is it integrated or can it be replaced is the question?

What kind of laptop is this? Or the display has died. Possibly the fan has stopped working on the GPU causing overheating problems. which is very common on laptops. do these problems exist while using games? or just normal usage?

But my opinion is the HD5400 has bit the dust. and it appears you have 2 separate video options. I cant remember what it is called but Acer had this option that would use the intel graphics and switch to the more powerful card when in games this was a battery and power saving feature. If you have that program could be an issue with that as wll. But i think the card is done.

It is integrated. All the hardware works fine..When I play a game I get like 70 C of temperature, which I thinks it's fine.
The bad thing it's that i can't replace the graphic card..
