hi,

I just made my computer, i have the parts in my signature.
Maybe it helps that i use 2 screens, one is a philips 190S (1280*1024 - 60hz) connected via DVI and another is a ACERAL1916 1440*900.

I tested the computer with prime95 (small and large FTPS) and temps did not exceed 74 °C .
Heaven benchmark did not show any artifacting or abnormalitys and temps did not exceed 68 °C.

Tested memory with memtest86 for about 2 hours and 0 errors.

my computer just randomly BSOD's while performing low perfromance task's like web browsing, you tube watching, music listening or just ideling. it even BSOD't when shuting down. it BSOD one time running minecraft + server for it.

i have no overclock tuned in what so ever on my pc, altough i had slight overclock on my GPU (1130 core and 1400 on the menory with no core voltage adjusted).

now is what really pushed me towards asking you guys is that it just completely turned itself of when watching a you tube video. no BSOD it just instantly powered down. i couldn't turn it on until i plug out the power cord, pressed the power button (to relieve static i suppose)

one thing to note is that the socket it the wall isn't grounded, it will be in like 6 months. could this be the problem? my old pc (an HP one) did not experience any problems with that, also the memory i use come's from that pc and it did not have any problems in the pc.

it's also weirdt that under load (gaming, rendering) the pc runs fine and it never crashed or somting like that.

so how do i solve or diagnose this for that matter?

thank you in advance :D

ps: the last errors i know on the BSOD thing were:

page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
something about menory_management

I would try re-seating the ram. Just take out the ram sticks and put them back in. This often is the problem. If that doesn't help, you can start a process of elimination by taking out all the components that you don't need like all ram but one stick, use onboard video if you have it, unplug the dvd burner etc, you get the idea. Then add one component at a time until you get it to repeat the problem. Many times just reseating the components will clear up the problem when you do that.

I hope they can solve it cause i can't :(

but i have studied electric engineering for about 2 years and grounding should only prevent my case having static or current on it.

but then again i'm not a pc expert.
