Could i do better for the money spent on this build?

pick up stuff from today only on scan and you'll save a bit. Buy from the same place at the same time to save on lots of shipping charges, and to save on arguments over who owns the bad components.

ditch that PSU it'll be rubbish, if you haven't got the budget reduce some other non-functional component like the case, spending 120 on a case is a lot and delivers no benefit, fractal R4 is quiet and cool, and a lot cheaper (£80).
don't spend so much on a mobo (they are all basically the same unless you are doing extreme things)

Without the k series the Z97 mobo is pointless.

Thanks again for all the help this is the revised build I have kept the motherboard due to wanting to have a bit of room for upgrades much later down the line and the over clocking seems like it wont be to much hassle with it?
Is that the right card and cpu as suggested?

I will scout the other sites and see if i can make any savings after taking delivery charges into account.

any z97 board will do what that board does, it is wasting £80.
Note you have a micro atx case and an atx board, your mobo won't fit right now.
PSU is still poor. seasonic, evga... there is a psu sticky somewhere on here, look through it. The PSU is the foundation if it is poor then your system will fail at some point and it will take most of your other components with it. 600W is fine, just get a better 600W.
