Hello Everyone

I appologise for mentioning a subject I know has been mentioned in the forums several times before but I cant find anything that gives any solid info (through my lack of observation skills to be fair)

I know the Bulldozer CPU's are notorious for innacurate temps but Coretemp and HWMonitor keep giving me these temperatures. My MB is Gigabyte 970A-DS3

HWMonitor:

TMPIN0 30C
TMPIN1 37C
TMPIN2 35C

Core temp 25C

Due to something I read a while ago I offset my Coretemp Settings by 17C so it reads 39C for the exact same time.

Is this offset realistic?

BTW those temps are max for when I stream internet etc

Thank you very much, all your expertise is greatly appreciated from a panicky person such as myself.

Those temps are not going to hurt anything, i dont think Coretemp is that inaccurate. What is this question here? if you need to offset the temp readings by 17c +/-?

Im sorry if my above question didnt make sense.

I am asking if what I have set the offset to (17C+) is normal for this CPU and if its within safe grounds. Under max load for me I once got 57C but as I have offset it i dont know if its safe.

I think the max safe temp for that CPU is 70c, IMO at max load if you ran "prime 95" running at 1005 load and you got a max of 57c you should be fine.

Thank you for your input, I did some research and found similar evidence but your input has put my paranoia to bed.

Thank you for your time and patience =)
