Yesterday I switched from WIN7 to WIN 8.1. Everything works great but there is one big problem:
The computer does not detect in any way my wireless adapter. I downloaded drivers, restart the PC, Uninstall and install, I did everything but none of this work!
By the way, the wireless adapter I am using is tp-link-tl-wn821n-300mbps

Solution
Your wifi adapter is not supported for Windows 8.
You will need to get a new wifi adapter that support Window 8 or downgrade back to Windows 7.

Look at the Specification tab and look at the supported OS when looking at these products.

For TP link products, the only 300Mbps Wifi adapter that is compatible with Window 8 is this:
http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details/?categoryid=240&model=TL-WN881ND#spec

For 150Mbps:
http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details/?categoryid=243&model=TL-WN727N
http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details/?categoryid=243&model=TL-WN781ND#spec
http://www.tp-link.com/lk/products/details/?categoryid=243&model=TL-WN725N#spec

I have the TL-WN727N and it works for Windows 8.
