No Signal to monitor /Tv

hey there guys i have just build my pc and i go to turn it on it works fans are on the lights the gpu works fine and the ram works fine but when i plug in a AGV/DVI or a HDMI cable in the monitor or the tv it does not work shows me a black screen and this is the first time i have built one from scratch please help im soo pissed right now and dnt know what to do been reading these posts all day and i cnt find a solution please help me if you need the parts i bought ill let you guys know

We have a troubleshooting checklist that was created for this exact type of problem. The checklist is in the stickies at the top of the forum. There's also a link to the checklist in my signature. Perform EVERY step in the checklist and it should help you determine what's causing the problem.
