i know there is allot of threads on this topic, but i can't find a direct answer. i somewhat know what S.M.A.R.T is and Hexadecimals.

so i have a Seagate Barracuda 1tb drive (cant get a RMA, owned it too long) i get this error all the time

(i use this as my backup drive, not OS drive)

and here is my information (btw, the hexadecimal in decimal form is 3856)

(program is Defraggler)

only 6 sectors didn't seem to bad, so i was wondering if i could get my windows to stop giving me that error or could someone tell me if my drive is nearing the end of its life?
thank you and have a great day!

That just usually indicate that you already need a back up of your back up.

its just an extra drive i have, not really a backup drive lol, i just want to know if it will be safe to store things on? (i wont be using it intensely)

also the reason it has these problems is because it belonged to a IOMEGA Home Media Network Hard Drive, so the motherboard got fried and the drive was all that was left.
