I just bought ASUS HD 5450, because the previous GPU (HD 7870 XT) had been hit by a strike.
I use VGA cabel with my monitor and it works fine.
I bought the new gpu mostly to watch movies on Sony TV, but now there's no signal detected by a TV (using HDMI cabel). I mean, there is no video on TV (no sound either). Signal possibly is, because a TV is detected by a computer (I can see that on Screen Resolution window).
I updated drivers and tried different things (changing resolution) and then realised there's no signal via DVI port either - I used DVI to VGA connector, which I had been using with HD 7870.
So, is there a chance that HDMI and DVI outputs are somehow blocked? Or is maybe a factory fault?

ok, I solved the problem. I replaced the gpu to an other PCIe slot, istalled drivers from CD and tried with monitor, which supports HDMI connection and it worked with that monitor. Then I plugged the cable again in the TV and it worked too!
I believe using the other monitor solved the problem
