Hi guys I have an Asus z87pro on a wired network using a virgin media super hub.

Anyone know of a way that when I arrive home my network can detect that my phone is connected and sends a WOL o wake up command to my pc ?

Thank you

An iPhone isn't capable of doing this automatically, however, apps are available that you can then run manually. Here's one:

Bear in mind that the target computer's network card and the SuperHub must support WoL. Chances are the network card is fine, as WoL has been around for a while, but the SuperHub may be a different story. You can get around this by purchasing another wireless router and leaving the SuperHub in "modem mode" though.

You may also need to access the BIOS of the target computer to enable the WoL feature.
