So my friend always plays a game which uses gameguard and as alot of people know it tends to crash skype alot, and whenever his skype crashes from gameguard my internet and my brothers etc. crashes. and when im not skyping with my friend it doesnt happen. Were both using windows 7

Here are some more methods you can try. Do these in order and then try running skype after ea method.
1. Turn your router/modem off. Wait a few minutes. Turn it on again.
2. Run the cmd as adminstrator. Type ipconfig /release. Wait a few minutes. Type ipconfig /renew. Wait a few minutes
3. Try installing skype portable @ http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/skype_portable
