GTX 750 ti HELP!

So my friend got a computer that he uses for gaming but it runs off of integrated graphics.....
He doesnt have enough money to buy or build a computer. So I was wondering if the GTX 750 ti would work. I looked at the motherboard and case and he has the space for the card.
I heard that the single fan 750 doesn't require additional power is this true?

It's an ok card. Google 750ti benchmarks and look at the FPS for some games your friend might want to play and see if they'd be happy with that.

So it would work without a power cord because if that is true its the only card that will really work in his computer.

yes most don't need power but double check the specs of the exact card you want to buy on their site.

I just say check the specs with the makers site because sometimes retailers don't list everything, or list it in plain site.

Had a guy asking about his monitor on here a few days ago and the amazon page said "play 1080p" videos and down further it said max resolution 1600x900, far of 1080p, but it never said it was 1080p resolution, and he bought it and was made, and I could feel, but also, you should always read the full page and specs and google it to be sure.
