I'm building my own pc (for the first time) and I've got most of the main components working, but there are two LED fans and 2 LED strips on my case that won't turn on. I have replaced the top fan on my case (listed below) with the liquid cooling system noted below. I have read that the issue may be that the fans are not connected to the power supply directly, and mine are connected to the motherboard via Sata and Molex cables, but I also heard that my way should work.

Full System Specs:
- Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT Snow Edition (VN10006W2N)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4930K Ivy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.4GHz LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor BX80633i74930K
- GPU: ASUS ROG MARS760-4GD5 GeForce GTX 760x2 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
- Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth X79 LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
- Hard Disk: Western Digital WD VelociRaptor WD5000HHTZ 500GB 10000 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"
- SSD: SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series MZ-7PD128BW 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive
- RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 Desktop Memory Model CMY16GX3M2A1866C9R
- Liquid cooling system: CORSAIR Hydro Series H105 Extreme Performance 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler, CW-9060016-WW
- Power Supply: CORSAIR AX1500i CP-9020057-NA 1500W ATX12V / EPS12V 80 PLUS Titanium certified Full Modular Power Supply
- OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Thank you for any help, and if any clarification is needed please let me know.

Ok, so I was able to get the fans working! (I plugged the molex cord into the power supply directly instead of the motherboard), but I still don't have the blue LED strip working. I'm still trying stuff, but I would greatly appreciate any feedback, and I will keep this post updated.

Thanks

From what I was able to gather on the Internet, it appears the LED strip does not light up on it's own. Hopefully this post is helpful to someone in the future.
