Will I be able to OC my i5 2500K from 3.3 to 4.0 with a 500W PSU?

As title says will it be safe to OC my i5 2500K from 3.3Ghz base to 4.0 with a 500W PSU? I just bought a Corsair H60 water cooling fan for my CPU.

What my PC should look like after its finished (Sorry not sure if I fully understood your first question!)
    CPU - i5 2500K @ 4.0Ghz
    RAM - 8GB
    GPU - GTX 760 2GB - SC
    PSU - Thermaltake TR2 500W

  3. Your power supply isn't particularly a good quality unit.
Probably better to get a newer power supply. Get at least 42 AMps on the 12V rails.

So there is no chance in me OCing my CPU ?
  5. If you overclock with one of the worst power supplies on the market , this could happen.
