No, buy a laptop that has b, g or n compatible Network Adapter so that your WiFi will be detected. Your router is not compatible for AC.

Nope, that's why there are so are laptops that has different compatible letter (ac/a/b/g/n, I don't know what are these, ahahaha). Anyway, just look for a laptop with b or or g or n.

Or maybe it can be detected, can be used, but with a slower internet connection. If you can try, you'll know.
Lots of bad answers here. If your laptop complies with the ac wireless standard, it will also comply with all previous wireless standards such as b/g/n. Backwards compatibility is a requirement of the ac wireless standard. So, yes, when you are traveling with your ac laptop, you will be able to pick up signals from routers that are broadcasting in b, g, n, or ac.
