Network not showing up?

I have the 1393 adapter installed. A long time ago, i deleted my Wirelss card on accident. I cant see my wireless network in the wireless networks window. Help?

I use a Dell Inspiron 6400 Windows 7 XP

You can't delete a wireless card (or any other card for that matter). What you deleted was your wireless network connection, that's not serious by any means, and that isn't why it's not listed in "Available Wireless Networks". It does happen quite commonly.

The usual fix is easy (at least it works for me, always):

1) Restart your wireless router (ie power it off then power it on again).

2) Wait until router indicates all ok (connected to internet & wireless enabled)

3) Now restart Windows on your laptop.

Check the available networks list again on laptop. Yours network should be there provided your laptop is within range of your router.

I tried this solution but it didn't work. Only the LAN or High Speed Internet connection is there. I'm connected to that one but i still can't browse the internet.
