Hello, my friend wanted me to build a computer for him, and he wanted his computer to be cable free and small.

So I chose GIGABYTE GA-H97N-WIFI motherboard (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128721&cm_re=h97n-_-13-128-721-_-Product) which needs a 4 pin ATX PSU cable.

Since he wants his computer to be cable free, I chose him the CORSAIR CX series CX600M PSU (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139048&cm_re=CX600m-_-17-139-048-_-Product)

However I noticed that the PSU uses an 8 pin ETX CPU cable.I want to know if (A) Can I use this for CPU fan connector and if I can (B) can this cable be split into two 4pins.

Thanks!

You split the 8 pin into 2 - 4 pins then plug one of the 4 pins in.
