Hey guys!
First I tell you my current rig:
Power: Acbel Pc7016
Mainboard: Asus p7p55dle
VGA: GYGABYTE WINDFORCE GTX 760 2GB
Ram:4*2GB (i can't tell you the details now)
Screen resolution:1440x900
CPU : Intel Core i7 860 @ 2.80 GHz
I decided to get another gtx 760 to sli but I realized that my Mainboard does not support SLI.
So I decided to buy a new mainboard. after digging and digging I noticed that my cpu socket is pretty old so I must buy another CPU as-well. I've already read best gaming cpus for the money and I know that spending more than 240$ for cpu is not recommended (in case of gaming).
Then It was time to choose a Mainboard. I was aiming at z97 series which supports LGA 1150 Cpus until I came by LGA 2011 x79 based Mainboard. After digging and digging I noticed that x79 is too much for my desire (gaming, watching movies, surfing).
But there is a problem here. I don't want to buy a LGA 1150 Mainboard and after a little while All of the Lga 1150 cpus get outdated for gaming and I would have to buy a mainboard again. I read couple of articles and threads about it but i am still unsure of how much it would last for me.
So I came here for help.
There are also some other problems.
Would I be able to play videogames like bf4 , crysis 3, etc at highest setting with a high framerate? (60 fps) How much would that last? If I buy another gtx 760
What is your recommendation as for motherboard for me? I think of asus z97 deluxe.
You know this might sound stupid. I know it does. But Do I even need to Upgrade Or I am just getting too greedy? This last part came in to my mind while writing. Sorry.
BTW my desire is to play Video games at ultra setting 60 fps
Thanks
I can't give you a budget, prices are different in my country

An i5 4690k with a z97 (lga1150) will last you a while... And wheter or not you can play on ultra relies on your GPU, if you haven't bought the 760 would recommend the 280, but if you've already bought it the 760 will do fine
