I have an EVGA 780 OC with the reference cooler and when I run Unigine Valley I find a few artifacts. However every game I run I find no artifacting. This includes Watch Dogs, WoW, SC2, League, Dota, and more. Is there something wrong with my GPU or is Unigine Valley just not working properly. To add on to this, what should I limit my overclock to? The number of artifacts or until my drivers crash?

Solution
Download OCCT and run the GPU test with the error check enabled for 30 - 45 mins. if no errors appear then the GPU is fine. Do not use the PC while the test is running or it may cause a false positive.

As for the OC use the same program once it errors the OC is to high, back it down till it stops erroring.

After looking at the Unigine benchmark tool they only appear on distant mountain ranges. And when I was overclocking my brother's gpu, I found legitimate artifacts. They were green or multi-colored specs and blots that could be found across the screen, the ones I'm finding are hugging the mountain ranges and are only white or grey.
