I am a verizon Fios subscriber. I get 75/75. Here is the problem. On My Alienware Laptop I get 80+ up and 80+ down. When I'm on my Desktop I get 80+ down but only 20+ up. I'm having a hard time figuring out what is going on. ( the laptop was wired, on wireless was getting around 80/50) I've tried switching from my Cat6 cable to a cat5e cable supplied to me. I've tried updating my realtek drivers. I have no idea what is going on. Can anyone help me please?

Is the desktop wired? what chipset is your network card? are the drivers up to date? are there any options in the drivers about things like tcp offloading or something like that.

Yes, my desktop is wired. The chipset is, Realtek® 8111E. And as far as I know, no there isn't.
