Can i run crossfire with 2 sapphire r9 290 tri-x oc with this?

very simple, want to maximize fps and gaming capabilities and was wondering if i got a second sapphire r9 290 tri-x oc if id be able to handle crossfire with them.

cpu-intel core i7 4770k
motherboard-asrock Z87 extreme 4
currently don't remember brand on ram but its 8GB.

any thoughts anyone?

Your build that you posted will be able to handle it quite well! However, I need to know your PSU specs. You need at least a 1000w PSU. Also keep in mind those cards run very hot, I have one myself and it can get up to 60 C under load unless it is the Sapphire Vapor X edition. Other than that, as long as you have reliable brand for a 1000w+ PSU you are good to go sir. Recommended is 750w for a single card.

im sorry i currently have a 750w. but okay i will also upgrade my psu when i grab the second card. just just wondering though should i run a sapphire vapor c edition with my tri-x to keep the heat down somewhat?
