I have a fsp 500-70ep, a 500w PSU that came with my prebuilt computer. Recently my gtx 660 broke and i am thinking about upgrading to an Asus Radeon r9 280. Will this work? Is my PSU too bad? On another forum it said the 12v rail had 34 amps, just thought it would help.

Brand? What do you mean? It says FSP GROUP INC. on it, and the MODEL NO is FSP500-70EP. It also says 80 PLUS bronze. Sorry, i don't know alot about computers... And i don't really have the money to buy a new PSU so i am just wondering if i should buy this GPU or a lower tier one. I found an ebay link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FSP500-70EP-FSP-Group-500w-Power-Supply-Unit-9PA5008000-/131077352115 . Picture with specs : http://gyazo.com/a49ef8f35cfa033bbf241a51cd5bf5b3

Just to be 100% sure. Go on PC Part Picker and insert all your components and on the top right corner, it should list how much power you need.

Are you talking about the GTX 660 ti or the r9 280?
