So i'm Trying to scrap together a PC for a friend of mine and I found an Intel motherboard (E210882) and a CPU (Core 2 Quad Q8200), so I looked up the specs and they are both socket LGA775. Though the mobo specs only list pentium 4 under supported CPU's.
Does that mean it will not work if I shove this little quad core in that mobo ?
This is what the specs file says:

Support Processor Type:
- Intel Pentium 4 with Hyper-Threading Technology
- (520, 530, 540, 550, 560, 570)
Socket Type
LGA 775
