My PC Configuration is Bit Old,
CPU : Core 2Quad 2.3Ghz - Intel Q8200
RAM : 4 GB DDR 3
MoBo : Intel DG33FB
SMPS : Intex 500W

My Budget is INR 5000/- to INR 6000/-

that is not a gaming card why would you suggest that kind of card for anyone that wants to play games. I run a business that builds custom gaming computers and ships them all around the world. That card is little better than most integrated graphics cards. it scores a 987 in passmark and most integrated graphics score in the 700 range nowadays.

At that point you would be better off purchasing a secondhand decent card a nvidia 560 660 radeon 6850 7850 etc even a 6770 would run circles around it.

sometimes you can even find things like overstock 7770's new in box if you look hard enough. if your pc has a single pcie adapter you should be able to use any of these. Without t if that is a newer PS you should be able to safely use an adapter for a while however it is suggested that you purchase a better power supply ASAP. If a power supply doesn't have PCIE support naturally then it usually doesn't work well for an indefinite period of time. Hope that helps.

Understood, (no offense intended for the previous post) but he should be aware that this is not a gaming card at all and that saving up until he can afford a real card is his best option ... spending 100$ on a card that is little more than a side grade seems silly.

this isn't the difference between a 750, and a 750ti this is the difference between integrated and a dedicated graphics card,

because chances are that this may only be a 10-20% boost and will be incapable of playing any of those unless on lowest settings on very low resolution, things like watchdogs require a 460 or above, and battlefield 4 is worse, a 730 has only half the power

my suggestion save up for a while and buy something like
http://www.flipkart.com/gainward-nvidia-geforce-gtx-650-1-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdgszadxkz59wt?pid=GRCDGSZADXKZ59WT&srno=b_31&ref=4239adeb-d611-4870-9e29-8c9812d76091
or check ebay, I was on there there are some decent deals in the india ebay site. (new cards I wasn't suggesting used)

actually I was under the impression that in most games the gtx 650 still was more powerful than the 250, actually I just looked it up and the 250 competes with the gt640, a much less powerful card. If he were able to find a 250x that in his price range that would be better than a gtx 650 however if the price difference is minimal I would go for the gtx 650. (I actually prefer AMD cards and use them in most of my setups however, nvidia's performance wins in the sector I also didnt see what the difference in price was.) honestly I would tell him to hold off on purchasing anything until he could afford to get something in the range of the 250x/gtx 650 or above anyways. The list of games he's given are likely to not do real well without at least that much performance.

Hope all this helps OP have a great day.

Depends... There's two versions of the 250 OC by MSI. One has 2GB of DDR3 and the one I posted has 1 GB of GDDR5. Look here;

http://extremespec.net/msi-r7-250-1gb-ddr5-oc-based-r7-250-review-design-testing-performance/3/

The GTX 650 is still a bit faster. According to that site it's 17% faster... If he wants something now, I don't think the R7 250 is a bad deal, as long as it's the GDDR5 verison.

I was going off that review, I saw that you had chosen the DDR5 model which as I said is not bad I just said if the price difference is minimal the gtx 650 wins, or if he can find a 250x around the same price to hold out for the 650/250x(better of the two) as they are much better cards that should be able to handle those games.

I agree if its a big difference in price then the 250 wins just making suggestions. Some of those games are quite high-end. (watchdogs/farcry 3/ battlefield 4) with all of these cards he will need to turn resolution/or settings down quite low.
