Hi there,

Recently realized that computer was missing sounds when playing games. Upon opening my sound manager, realized that realtek is seeing my 2 speakers as rear speakers even though i have 2 speakers which are those plug and play speakers by sonic gear and that having 2 speakers should be stereo not surround sound (am i right ?). Can't seem to change them while fiddling with the sound manager or changing the output. Help would be much appreciated.

usually the speakers are detected based on which jacks you plugged them in. Review your motherboard manual and make sure the speakers are plugged into the right jacks in the rear I//O ports.

Yup. I did that. It was working fine a while back when I connected it to the green port. Don't have any idea on what happened as i just got back from overseas.
