Hey thanks for replying ..one more question . my new power supply unit has 6- pin or 4 pin connecter .. but this require 4-pin connector .. can i use 6 pin or 8 pin one .. they fits in the plug .
if your power supply has a 6-pin or 8-pin power connector meant for the cpu power plug, yes it will work. make sure it isnt the pci-e power cable though.
that gives power to the cpu. if it works fine, then you dont need to replace it, but i would recommend you do.

look at the little lock on the 6 or 8 pin ( the little arrow thing that latch on to mare sure wire stay .. don't know how to explain it) .. that indicate which 4 should use
