I've try to set my cpu base clock value from 90 to 120, and my clock ratio is 30, so it becomes from 3.00ghz to 3.60ghz

After saving the BIOS, I try to start my computer and it crashes...
It appears no graphic display and gives off strange sound...

I hardly reset BIOS setting by pressing the power source button 15seconds.
However, when I start my system again the BIOS system tell me that "Boot failure detected"
When I enter my windows 8.1,
it tells me an error code 0xc0000017.

So that I try to boot my computer with a windows 8.1 DVD. But it happended
nothing and still go the same error.

Help!!!

Solution
i looked up the erroe code, and it is caused by corrupt windows files. i guess you will have to re-instal windows :/ but first, try booting into safe mode.

I think my device can run normally now...
I don't know but after I changed my boot sequence it is good now... Well that's sort of weird though

Another happy ending with a successful overclocker, right? Because all OC is safe and reliable.

Felt the cold sweat down the spine, didn't you? I just love moments like this, where the overclocker gets punished for his insolence but the CPU survives to remind him of the bitter lesson learned.
