Not wireless even if it says connected

Hi, I have got a Lenovo E530c laptop which connects to the Internet via Ethernet cable but not through wireless even if it says connected. Other devices in the house are connected wireless without a problem. Please can you help me?

You can disconnect the coaxial cable to your modem and your router will still show a connection on the pc. If you go into internet connections it will show NO INTERNET CONNECT which is different. Your router still puts out a signal whether you have internet or not. SO i would check router firmware version and/or your wireless card driver to see if it's the mode current.
